​Application:
The masterclass is meant for advanced students and professional singer-pianist duos. 
We do not accept applications from singers or pianists separately. 

To apply, please complete the application form and send to our email projetocancao21@gmail.com the following documents:
​

• Individual photos of both the singer and the pianist (in JPEG, PDF, or PNG format), along with a duo photo if available. All photos must include proper photo credits.

• A biography for both the singer and the pianist (each biography must not exceed 1,500 characters, including spaces, and can be written in English or Portuguese). The biographies should be submitted as plain Word documents, without any formatting or layout. Please note that the biography must be written as a narrative text, not as a résumé.

• A YouTube link featuring a performance of two contrasting songs by you and your duo partner. While we recommend a high-quality recording, there are no restrictions on how the recording is made. You may submit the songs in separate takes or as two separate YouTube links.

• Your program proposal should include a list of three to five songs from the standard Lied repertoire, in any language.

Application closes on February 20, 2026. Applicants will receive a notice before February 23, 2026, whether they have been accepted. ​
 

There will be eight (8) selected duos for the masterclass and a reserve list in case of cancellations.​​

Selected Lied Duos will have access to:

• Three duo classes with Juliane Banse;

• Workshop "From Poetry to Song" with Daniel Arkadij Gerzenberg;

• Participation in the Final Concert of the Masterclass;

• Video recording of the Final Concert;

• Free admission to all the festival concerts;

• A Certificate of Participation.​​
